Responsibilities Responsibilities• Individual for this position will be one of the 4G/LTE / ODI Subject Matter Experts for our large b2b.verizonwireless.com portal. • Provides design and code of order process flow for eCommerce shopping flow which is related to ODI development and 4G. • Provides technical leadership and/or business-related subject matter expertise across multiple, large-scale, highly complex projects. • Leads team to provide problem analysis, proactively manage problems and make decisions to improve b2b.verizonwireless.com functionality. • Conducts architectural reviews - ensures that design standards are followed and conducts code reviews. • Set strategic direction for the technical implementation of the presentation layer (look and feel), Business Layer, Middle layer and Webservices of the MyBusiness website (b2b.verizonwireless.com). • Regularly leads teams and provides direction to staff members. Oversees and validates the collection and analysis of client requirements. • Develop code/design, analysis and produce specific deliverables relating to various phases of the systems life cycle. • Proactively communicates team project status, issues and concerns to management. • Excellent experience with enterprise systems integration. • Excellent experience with TCP/IP and general mobile communications, theories and practices. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The incumbent acts independently, and provides technical leadership and/or business-related subject matter expertise. The Senior Member of Applications Staff is also responsible for evaluating and developing reliable and efficient automated solutions to fulfill complex business requirements. Works as a team member and provides technical leadership and/or business-related subject matter expertise on large, highly complex projects. Regularly leads other team members in selected project activities. Provides direction to staff members and peers. Responsible for analyzing and proactively managing problems and making decisions that impact overall system (s) and project (s) while acting independently. Evaluates, develops and implements systems solutions to effectively fulfill business requirements. Ensures systems implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures. Provides quality customer service. Proactively communicates status reports and issues to manager. Successfully completes all relevant technical and professional training programs in accordance with Performance Agreement goals and objectives. Qualifications Qualification:Excellent hands-on and practical experience with the following areas:• 7 – 8 Years experience in Java & J2EE: Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL, JMS, Servlet, JSP, JMX, EJB, Web Services, SOAP, Rest, Apache software stack • 3- 4 Years of experience in Web development frameworks and technologies: Spring MVC, Spring Web Flow, Struts, Stripes, GWT, JSF, XML, XHMTL, CSS, JavaScript • 1 -2 years of experience ANT, Maven, JUnit, JMeter • 4 -5 Years of experience in OOA, OAD, UML • Strong knowledge of website accessibility standards • Expert knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies for client-side development standards • Strong knowledge of Weblogic application server • Strong knowledge of - Java Development tools (IDEs, JUnit, JProbe etc.) - Version and Source Control Systems (Sub Version) • Oracle Database with knowledge of PL/SQL & SQL and Application Performance Tuning• Bachelors in Computer Science, Masters preferred.
